/files/Staff Folder/Staff pictures/2010-11/Blakely.jpgChristine Blakley joined the staff at ACA this year after relocating to the Tuscaloosa area with her family. She teaches the regular 11th and 12 grade English classes and the 11th and 12th grade Advanced Placement English classes. She is the proud mother of four children: Jacob (17), Madelyn (9), Dani Grace (4), and John Daniel (1). All of her children attend ACA, and you frequently see her walking down the hallway in the mornings with her little ones trailing behind! Christine graduated from Kansas State University in 1998 with a degree in secondary education. She is certified to teach English, speech, and theater in grades 7-12 and has taught in both public and private schools in Kansas, Tennessee, and Alabama. In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her family, reading, writing, and acting/directing in community theater. Christine accepted Christ at summer church camp when she was 14 and was baptised in the lake by her father. She feels tremendously blessed to be back in a Christian school environment and so proud to be part of the ACA family. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:38-39. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.
